Metallica: Japan Tour 2003

Last week, November 11th, I had the privelege of attending my first Metallica concert, in Tokyo! (Well Saitama to be exact.) My boss had an extra ticket, and let me have it as a sort of ‘bonus’. It was an awesome concert, lasting a full two hours, with songs from various albums (Kill em All; Justice for All; St. Anger; ‘Black Album’; Master of Puppets; and possibly some others).
I was expecting there to be fights / riots breaking out. But it was a very tame crowd. Even the Sum41 concert a few months ago was more rowdy - with young punks body surfing overhead.
The only complaint I have was with the 2 female punks behind us who were headbanging the whole time. Their hair kept hitting our backs. They then had the nerve to complaining they couldn’t see, and that it was hot …
